Environmental Inspections Albuquerque NM

Environmental Inspections

Unlike general walkthroughs, environmental testing and inspections are specialized services with specialized tools that can become an integral part of educating the individual on a property. Whether it’s the home you and your family plan to live in or the commercial property you’re investing in, environmental toxins and damage can create health issues as well as reduce the value of the property.

All of our environmental inspections are completed by Certified Environmental Technicians. Our technicians attend training through InterNachi and various other
educational venues to obtain their certifications for each field of service. Further information about educational venues can be found on the “About Us” tab on this website. Our goal is to provide education about the existing environmental conditions of your property.

By investing in environmental testing and inspections, you gain the knowledge to address problems early—before they become costly or hazardous. It’s about more than peace of mind; it’s about safeguarding your investment and ensuring a safe, healthy environment for everyone who lives or works on the property.

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES WE OFFER

Mold testing – a certified technician will take samples from areas of concern and submit them to a local laboratory. The results may take a few days, but it’s well worth the time to ensure safety. Exposure to mold can affect indoor air quality and respiratory health. Mold evaluations can determine the areas to be tested.

Sewer Scans – scanned from the home to the street or septic tank and completed by a certified technician with specialized equipment. These videos provide real-time information about damaged sewer lines and blockage that may occur in both old and new homes or other commercial buildings.

Duct Scopes – videos of the in-slab ducts in the flooring can provide information about how clean or how dirty the ducts may be. Sometimes there is damage to these ducts that can also be detected to determine the extent of repair needed.

Radon Gas testing – radon gas is invisible, odorless, and impossible to detect without testing. It’s the 2 nd leading cause of lung cancer in the US and is most prominent in the Rocky Mountain States.

Water Quality testing – the water we drink impacts our bodies daily. Testing water for contaminants like e-coli and other types of bacteria as well as nitrates and heavy metals is the only way to detect the invisible, odorless, and harmful elements that can be found in water.

Well Testing – make sure you will have enough water. It’s essential to know how well the system performs and that a well will produce the number of gallons you need to run your home. Wells with cisterns or shared wells cannot be tested.
